Fall is here but Houston weather has yet to get the memo. That has not stopped me from shopping for clothing with a little more fabric, some darker colors, and others as bright as summer. What that means for my immediate wardrobe is lots of dresses and dressier heels. On one of my most recent shopping trips this dress caught my eye and I just had to have it.

I was at JCPenney and happened to stumble upon their Joe Fresh selection. I had completely forgotten that JCPenney carries the brand that once was so limited in accessibility. At any rate, I saw it and knew it would go perfectly with my fur block heels that I had purchased maybe a week before. The colors are beautiful and the fabric is comfy. This is the perfect dress for dinner with imaginary bae or brunch with your girls (I need loose clothing when I eat, lol).

For my accessories I kept everything else simple since there was already enough colors, prints, and textures engaging the eye. Pearl earrings and my heart-shaped bag made this look even more girly which I love. Also, let me warn you now: These are my new favorite shoes. Get comfortable seeing them because they’ll be a fall staple for me. ;)

I am considering tailoring this dress in the near future. Since I’m a little person, the sleeves swallow my arms, and the overall dress length is a bit long in the back but I still love it.
