How to Wear White in The Fall
/I get tons of questions on how to stretch your summer clothing through fall. I have made it my life’s mission to only buy clothing that can be styled in multiple ways. This is why I love basics so much. They provide lots of versatility. While clubbing in Toronto, I wore this sleek white midi dress with strappy sandals. When Fall came, I wasn't yet ready to put it away. Whoever says you aren’t supposed to wear white after Labor Day, to hell with them.
Fashion Tip:
In fashion, “rules” are meant to be broken. I do not believe in limiting myself to certain colors simply because of the season. Following the “No White After Labor Day” rule is a guarantee that some of your best pieces will go to the back of your closet to die. I personally love wearing white year-round. This is how you wear it during fall: Pair it with deeper tones that are notable during the fall season like maroon and navy blue. This sleeveless blazer brings a sexy trench-like quality without you dying of heat exhaustion and the heels in navy blue bring a classic feel. I understand that this piece only works in warmer climates like Houston but an oversized sweater or regular blazer would work as well. Rose gold accessories are the perfect metal to provide cohesiveness throughout the look. Leave your comments below on how you would style this dress for fall and thanks for reading!
